The Title is an obvious way to let people know what your book is about. It’s a simple way to communicate the sum of the thousands of words that have been written before they are read. Though most will not fully understand the title until they have actually read the book. The real journey always begins with the first chapter and takes the reader down either a familiar or unexpected path with twists and turns filled with emotions. The author is in charge of the path, all of the surprises that it elicits, the emotions that are felt, the expectations that are set, and all of the journeys that each is taken on. The author gives each reader a predefined but unique experience to each reader. It is a dance between the author’s words and the reader’s imagination to fill in the blanks. It is purposeful and intentional and sometimes works best when it is created backwards. From the happy everafter to the beginning of the adventure.
